I'm Honored To Be Among IMDb's Four Horsemen Of Geneva, Illinois!


Studying Biblical/End Times prophecy is fascinating, about events already recorded in God's unchanging Word/the Holy Bible that will really take place in the future, leading up to the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and per Yeshua/Jesus Himself, from a Spiritual lens, we are seeing the birth pangs of these events taking place (Matthew 24). To understand End Times prophecy, ask the Spirit of God to give you understanding (Luke 11:13). Some of the future events in this world are symbolized within a Bible passage regarding the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in Revelation 6.

Football historians know about the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame, a group of football players led by coach Knute Rockne. And among old school pro wrestling fans, there was a notorious stable known as The Four Horsemen, which consisted of "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and a revolving door of other well-known wrestlers who competed in the NWA and WCW (including Tully Blanchard and Lex Luger, who have given their testimonies as born again Christians and have inspired many at Christ-centered events in more recent years).

According to IMDb, among 19 people listed who were born in Geneva, Illinois with television, film and/or video credits (and it is quite an honor to make it with credits on IMDb in the first place), I am consistently listed as one of the top 4 most popular people born in Geneva, Illinois, along with actress Joan Taylor, choreographer/director Gower Champion, and writer Bob Woodward. So I am honored to be, according to IMDb, one of the Four Horsemen of Geneva, Illinois! And, by the grace of God, that makes me the number one most popular person born in Geneva, Illinois listed on IMDb who is still walking on this earth!

As a side note, I was raised in a little town called West Chicago (which is the name of a small town, it's not the famous city's WEST-SIDE, homeys), but I was born in the neighboring town of Geneva. I know that only the Word of God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8, 1 Peter 1:25), but I'll enjoy this flower before it fades! As of this writing, we are getting close to Thanksgiving, and with that in mind, being the number one most popular living entertainment personality born in Geneva, Illinois on IMDb is something I am thankful for (and may it be an inspiration to some of you reading). On Thanksgiving and on each and every day that the Lord makes, may we give thanks to Him and praise His name (Psalm 100:4)!

K-WAVE 107.9 Now Also Delivers Truth & Hope On Los Angeles' AM 1110!

My fellow KWVE/"K-WAVE" on-air colleagues & I are excited to be a part of a radio ministry team that made history just hours ago. Along with 107.9 FM, K-WAVE is also now heard on the legendary 50,000-watt powerhouse known as AM 1110 in Los Angeles! A few months ago, my employer Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (founded by Pastor Chuck Smith) bought AM 1110 from The Disney Company for $5 million (a nice piece of cheese to a certain Mouse Factory, in what is not a Mickey Mouse deal). On Friday, September 8th, 2023, at 3:00 PM Pacific Time, AM 1110 made the switch from a Disney Company-owned sports talk format to a Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa-owned Christian talk/Bible teaching format. Among many others, my wife April was an "earwitness", telling me over the phone that she could hear K-WAVE loud and clear on AM 1110 while driving through the San Fernando Valley (where our 107.9 FM signal can be "spotty" in some areas). My Lunch With Sonny (Down-Home Dining In Crusher Country)

My wife April & I, a week ago, had lunch with my long-time good friend and former pro wrestler/trainer/promoter Sonny Rogers, at a certain restaurant that Sonny goes to and talks about almost daily, the Oak Creek Diner in Oak Creek, Wisconsin (pictured above), about four minutes away from Milwaukee Airport, and not far from the statue of "The Wrestler Who Made Milwaukee Famous", da one, da only, Da Crusher (HOW 'BOUT DAT?!). With the bad news of so many restaurants across the nation filing for bankruptcy or closing locations, this simple breakfast and lunch restaurant in Oak Creek was a big draw on this day. The parking lot was full (FREE parking, thank God) and while sitting in our booth, April joked, "The whole town of Oak Creek is here!"
