Images Celebrating My Glorious Career (Bless The Lord, Wrestling And KWVE/"K-WAVE")

Praise God and blessings to my good former employer for this mighty fine pictorial tribute, which was presented to me at my retirement luncheon, on the campus of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, celebrating my fifteen glorious years as an on-air personality at KWVE/"K-WAVE" Christian Radio 107.9 & 1110/Los Angeles. In one room on the CCCM campus, I saw several copies of this pictorial tribute on a table, along with multicolor paint marker pens, presumably to be colored by kids at Calvary Chapel Schools.

This animated artwork of appreciation (I thanked Tchuck Lopez at this luncheon for his part in it) not only expresses thanks for my years working on-air in the 5th floor radio studios within the K-WAVE Building, but also an acknowledgment of my professional wrestling announcing career, which is still what I am best known for (I am amazed that some fans have seen my on-camera hosting/wrestling play-by-play in certain parts of the world where I didn't even know it was distributed).

These images remind me of the times I saw wrestling fans at house shows bringing their own handmade signs featuring images of The Road Warriors, Baron Von Raschke and Da Crusher, and these signs were a sign of how "over" a wrestling personality was, when it came to connecting with an audience.

Along with our retirement certificates, my wife April & I had this K-WAVE portrait framed and placed on a wall in our new home, and these images are quite impressive and fun to look at. However, when it comes to "images", looking at a much bigger picture, may we reflect the glory of the Lord, who transforms us into His image, from one degree of glory to even more glory, which comes from the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18)!
